Shady and Sheltered Brownstone Garden

James Russell designed this beautiful shade garden behind a brownstone in Briooklyn Heights. Jim designed and built this "sleeper" deck which appears to float above the yard. The bridge to the raised bed creates the impression of a pond. A 'New Dawn' rose climbes over the triangular arbor. Notice the window in the fence with a window box.
